The Preston Ridge Professional Campus embodies a new concept for healthcare delivery that is designed to encourage and empower people to become and stay healthy. The beautiful new 89,000 sf facility is the first comprehensive cancer center in the region that promotes treatment and prevention though integrated medicine, radiation and medical oncology, and wellness.
The new professional office building provides a full range of state-of-the-art medical services. It is the first phase of a projected two-phase master plan. The building was strategically situated to take advantage of the natural terrain and views.
Fitting a new medical campus on the site was no easy task. The original topography had 100 feet of fall from East to West. The design required creative site circulation, a new patient drop-off, and a covered walkway from the new 420 space parking deck.
The facility blends the comforts of a hospitality setting, and the complex, high-tech aspects of modern medical care, while maintaining the comfort and reassurance of the emotional and spiritual balance of its patients, visitors, and staff.
